where is JAHAN in arx ?

So i decided to complete the demon quest and with it all of the quests apart from the cathedral, but where is jahan ? he said that he is going to arx to kill the demon but he is nowhereto be found, even after i killed the doctor, i found the dwarf in one cell but not jahan.

PS: Lohse is not a member of my party.

He is not there, only the bard dwarf is there. :/

That is happening often it seems, I didn't find him either except on my first playthrough. On the other hand, it does not matter where he is, since he has no further role.

It's buggy as hell (pun intended).

His story is lacklustre and underwritten *AND* he's bugged so his appearance in Arx often doesn't even happen.

He didn't even ask to be on the boat as i read in other discussions, he says he will move to
arx to kill the demon and that's it, no further options.
Just wanted to be praised for killing the demon by a well known demon slayer :( .

He used to hang with the doctor as he states, bragging on female conquests, and I *think* made a deal with a demon in the past (since he's so old)...and his sins caught up with him. Demons are evil, Arch ones even more so.

You do know he's a character from the first D:OS, right? His dialogue even tells you he's >1,000 years old.

It's kinda obvious you've not played the first game. Hint hint, already addressed once. You literally killed HIS demon a good 1k+ years ago >.<

It's also a fight with very similar mechanics to the "heal the woman with a worm in her brain quest" in terms of layout.

Here's the Lore and the Quest:

This is the companion quest which is given by Jahan after you speak to Greal as part of the Follow the Wizard quest chain. Jahan reveals that his lifelong quest is to find and kill the Demon Balberith who laid claim on his soul.

Lore wise: Jahan is free of his bargain... Because you literally freed him from it in D:OS. Thus the entire chain makes no sense lore wise or is missing huge chunks.

"Why am I telling you about the DOCTOR in chapter 2 and why is that tree mentioning the DOCTOR when LITERALLY NO-ONE HAS EVER BROUGHT THIS SUBJECT UP OR EXPLAINED IT". Not to mention that the jump from meeting the cursed tree jumps to "btw, Doctor is an evil demon, here's his real name, please save me, don't worry, none of this is revealed in lore or touched upon further or even logged in quests" in three sentences.

Oh, and the fact she (the tree) was cursed 1,000's of years ago... but the DOCTOR coming to "cure her" is able to access the island, ignore the demons *and* just happens to get possessed and Jahan doesn't even notice?! From the island that he's hunting a DEMON from?

*facepalm*
