1. The usual way - Go through Wrecker's Cave, kill Mordus, there's an exit just past him past the entrance to the underground grotto
1.1. The usual way with teleport & sneak - You can skip most of the caves by teleporting down from the ledge at the start then sneaking past Mordus (left hand side)
2. The "I'm quite good at this game, let me meta-teleport" way - You can teleport down from the castle battle onto a ledge then onto the beach. There's also a hidden / buried stash on the ledge to reward your forward thinking - had an epic when I looted it
3. Yippee ki-yay way: It's possible with enough strength and steel nerves to walk under the troll bridge and then throw a pyramid all that way to the beach. Just make sure you have two of them and/or don't miss
1.1 and 3 are useful if you're not quite up to the Castle fight or Mordus and want to rush getting that sweet sweet +2 lucky charm amulet (and finish the quest from the inn < note, if you talk with a character with a Mystic tag, you get 2k xp extra before even requiring spirit sight to talk to the ghost).
There's also a way to get to the chest on the ship with the traps in the early part of the cave. You can throw a pyramid onto the 'edge' of the ship (it bugs a little, goes up vertically) then port to it, your party will appear not on the ledge but on the ship side. Oh, and don't do this without +2 telekenisis, the pyramid is stuck on that ledge and you cannot reach it normally.
Ok, you've two realities to deal with. Either:
1. We're all lying and you are correct
2. You missed the cave entrance, haven't tried teleporting down and haven't tried throwing a pyramid.
Adult lesson: it's ok to be wrong sometimes. Mummy won't spank you.
On Definitive Edition at least, you can easily teleport/phoenix dive/cloak and dagger etc down to the landing in front of the waypoint. If you approach the troll bridge above the shipwreck from the cloisterwood (north) side, you can walk aroind the logs and stand right against the cliffs. Use any skill to get you down there and pyramids for whatever character does not have a self-teleport skill.
After you smoke Mordus, you're in the NW quadrant of the map. Go past him around the wooden structure to about X:548, Y689 where you see the hidden vault door. Past that vault door is a "hidden" cave that gets discovered and takes you to the grotto with the waypoint.
