Kudos to you or whomever took the time to go through the spells and figure that out.
I actually have the blood spell this time.
I thought it was a power issues with the eternal gadgets and wasted an hour of my life trying to figure it out, then gave up.

Seriously though I had no luck with that and got some feedback that it was a magic lock or something.
Yup sure did...in the basement dungeon....under where the doc etc. lie dead.
Stuff was all aglow...purple I think, too.
I'm headed back there tomorrow on this playthrough...taking a short diversion with Beyond Divinity.
P.S. I don't know if it matters whom you kill or work with. The first time I sided with Advocate and this time, Jahan . Both times killed Sallow . Doubt it, but throwing it out there.
This was pre-patch but I got both sets last play-through.
Never used them since they're mostly comic relief items.
I couldn't get nuttin' . I've subscribed to your question thread. Maybe someone can straighten it out. I wasn't too concerneed with it as I think I had better equipment, it was just the notion of a locked area I couldn't get to...grrrr.
