I decided to kill her to send her to where her daughter is.

Talk to Jeth right next to her. He will inform you the daughter was killed by voidwoken and buried before the mother and daughter ever set foot on Fort Joy.

i talked to the guy next to her and he told me the daughter died in some attack then you tell mom and she won't accept it but that ended the quest for me

I dont know why but i think her dotter is Coral, but i cant prove it. That quest cant just be that simpel that you talk to Jeth and then Back to mommy and then finihsed.

It is. Because she is insane. Her daughter died and eas never on Fort Joy. Your only options after trying to tell her that she's nuts are to leave her alone or kill her to bring relief to the other prisoners.

IMO this is your "quest tutorial". Receive quest, talk to NPC to find solution, talk to quest giver and choose the correct option that was unlocked by talking to Jeth.

It's a pretty lazy quest to be honest. It's literally just talk to her, talk to the guy next to her, talk to her again and that's it. You keep the doll, nothing else happens. She locks you out no closure at all. It's like the king of all filler quests. There's no way to help her come to terms. No secret to be discovered. That's it.
