Persuasion,Bartering and Loremaster 1 point each?
Do you guys have atleast 1 point per character for persuasion? then only one character will max it?
Like:
The Red Prince already got 1 point advance in Persuasion due to "spellsong" do you keep keep going for more points for persuasion? Note: The Red Prince is not you're main character. Or you keep it 1 point and you make your main character the "Persuasion char" or go for Red Prince even if hes not your main char??
Then,
Another one is Lohse got 1 point advance in Bartering(Thrifty) are you gonna use her as your Bartering character? And still point atleast one point in persuasion?

Samething with loremaster. Confuse xD.

Persuasion is better to put on main character regardless of bonuses.

Lohse is made for barter, yes (even RP-wide!).

Yeah I don't want to switch up everytime on who has the most persuasion.
Is it good to put atleast one point for each of your character or just one(your main char) will do? Is that +5 Attitude worth?

Persuasion mechanic require focus into it if you really expect to win most of checks (not all, some persuasion attempts are doomed from start).

So say no-no to 1 point on every char.

Barter too rewarding most stacking it, not spreading around (hint : remember how % works).

And for Loremaster - 2 is enough for Fort Joy. After it you will get access to magic mirror allowing you to respec your chars indefinitely :)

My view on the skills is:
  • Persuade- As high as possible on one character, the same character who has pet pal. There is one point where you will want it on your main character, before entering the Academy, but other than that it can be on any party member. If you're using NPCs I suggest Ifan since, as an NPC, he gets Pet Pal for free.
  • Lucky Charm- Really good for getting better loot. I'm not sure which skill generates more income Lucky Charm or Thievery, but having them both maxed is a good idea.
  • Barter- This is a very useful skill to have, but only when you're buying or selling something. So you can pick it up by respeccing before you go on a shopping spree. If you use it, don't forget to have the character using it max their reputation with your main selling vendors. The rep bonus gives you a pretty big discount as well.
  • Loremaster- Really good for a first playthrough so you can examine your enemies. It's secondary purpose is to identify equipment. For a second playthrough, you can ignore it and just respec into it to identify gear before you sell it. You don't ever need more than 5 with this skill.
  • Telekinesis- You only need 1 point for picking up some stuff that you can't reach, and you can get that from gear. There is some combat utility from being able to drop heavy stuff on enemies.
  • Sneaking- If you have Cloak and Dagger from Scoundrel you should never have to put a point in this skill. Between what you get from Rank 0 and the ability to teleport to blindspots, you just don't need it. It costs 4 AP to enter stealth mode in combat, so even the combat utility is limited.
  • Thievery- Useful for getting loot, you can use it once per NPC, per character. So once per map you should have every character use this skill to rob the merchants. It's also useful for lockpicking and disarming traps. It's a good skill to have when adventuring, but you can miss out on some XP by picking locks where you "should have" found the key.
