Wrecker's Cave
These caves near Driftwood... I entered them, my entire party immediately got overpowered by giant stupidly OP voidwoken, and split up. My PC, Lohse, and Beast got dumped into giant egg chambers surrounded by Voidwoken who are stupidly powerful even though we're the same level. Ifan got dumped into a lair with a crazy dwarf scientist, which progressed a bunch of quests, but now I can't escape it. There's no way out of that lair. The other three characters will get murdered by Voidwoken if they take a single step. WTF am I supposed to do here?

I just did this part not too long ago. All you have to do is postpone your main character until all your other companions have found each other. Then send them all to your main to save them. Thats what i did. It was a difficult fight. Actually any fight that had those stupid flying voidwoken creatures was difficult. But like i said, you need to focus on regrouping first. Then focus on saving your PC.

I kind of figured that. But all of my characters have giant voidwoken staring them down. Except for Ifan, who's trapped with the Dwarf scientist and there's no way out of her chamber. There's a trapdoor or something on the other side of a wooden wall but no way to get to it: it can't be blown up or bypassed in any way.

There is a key hidden in the scientists room which will open the door. If Ifan has a self-teleport, he can find some tunnels to travel to other places. (There is a big gate near where Ifan is, but leaving will trigger combat, even when sneaking.)

When I did this, Beast, my Avatar/Rogue was in the middle of a big egg chamber, but I was able to use Favourable Wind and invisibility to escape the fight, and Cloak and Dagger to get out of the room. If you don't have skills to let you escape easily, you don't have much choice but to wait in combat for your teammates to rescue you.

Red Prince, my Knight ended up near a gate and a door, but he was able to defeat the Voidwoken there, after a couple attempts. But I was level 12 and had Cleanse Wounds and Frost Armor.

Sebille ended up in the living quarters and was able to find a path which avoided big Voidwoken.

I don't know your specific builds or your level, so I'm not sure if this can help.

Yeah i totally forgot about those things. But i dont think you can switch items to another character while in combat though.

If your struggling use pyramids, though its possible to reunite all your characters without teleporting, and it was alot more fun than cheesing it.

My main issue is that I can't beat the fight to rescue my main. I've got the other three members of my party running around searching for the last bit of exp for a level up, but Prince is just sitting there, trapped in combat, with equipment that I've admittedly neglected to update. ♥♥♥♥ me, amirite?

You can avoid the fight. You only need two character with Teleport or one character with Teleport and polymorph wings.

Fun fact: You can use waypoints while dead.

If a character is really too balls deep in combat to escape, or have allies help him, just let him die. You can then use a waypoint to warp his corpse into town and revive it there.

A key? Where? I've torn the place apart looking and found nothing. There's a tunnel entrance tauntingly where I can't get to it, but I see no key.

My characters are all level 10, compared to the enemies around being level 11. They're specced out... badly. I'm very much a novice to this game and Divinity as a whole. I wouldn't even know how to describe them.

Coming back to this, I managed to teleport all my characters together, then clean out the caves... Mostly. There's a large section in the SouthEast portion of the caves blocked off by locked doors that I can't get past, and I have a hunch that it contains the next steps in a whole bunch of quests. Anyone have any ideas how to get past the locked gates there?

There's a narrow gap on the side opposite the tunnel which has a few candles or something. The key is at the far end behind a box. I almost missed this too, but panning around with Alt held down got the key to briefly appear. Move the box aside.

What attributes have your characters focused on(STR/INT/FIN/CON/WIT/MEM), what abilities have they focused on (Warfare, Summoning, Hydrosophist, etc.), what Skills do they have (Restoration, Battle Stomp, Backlash, Searing Daggers, Rain, etc.).

My main is... dual wielding, a few hydro moves, somehow picked up a whole bunch of necromancy moves as well. Lohse has Air moves and fire. Ifan is ranged and geo. Beast is... I don't even know what I've put on Beast, the only one that I've done anything even remotely coherent on is Lohse.
