difference between fake fullscreen and fullscreen?
???
Also, I guess it's my monitor but It seems that whichever resolution I use, it cuts off a small portion of the far sides of my screen. It's not too bad, I think i can see everything, but wouldn't a good option in the options menu be to have an option to change the size and distance of the HUD like we have it in GTA 5 and Witcher 3?

Fake fullscreen is a borderless window that is the same size as your desktop resolution. You can pop up your start menu or open some other window and it will sit on top of the game.

True fullscreen does not let you open something else without minimizing the game to the taskbar.

Should you look for info on this topic in the future, you might try the term "Borderless Window Mode" --at least I think that is the generally accepted term and may yield more results. Plus it doesn't sound like "Fake News." FYI :)

the game actually calls it "fake fullscreen" instead of the proper "borderless window"
Yea lol sounds the devs are trying to troll us. I use the fake full screen!

I believe games traditionally take over the graphics processing pretty much. I guess this "should" utilize your entire GPU or close to run the game. However, "Windows" applications run in a... Window. This option will just make one giant window always and maximized until you deliberately "switch task" as mentioned and see the Taskbar.

If you have multiple monitors, this will allow you to for example, have the game running on one (borderless) screen while you switch to a different monitor to check the internet for hints, email, type here, watch youtube while you play, etc.

Ok the "Fake Fullscreen" did not work. Is there a tool or program to make it easy to go down to one screen? And then back to four when I need to.

Thanks for all the help.
