Can't Dismiss Red Prince Bug

I can't dismiss the Red Prince in Arx but I can dismiss my other two companions. It wouldn't be a big deal but I need to abuse Lone Wolf on a few fights with other companions present.

I googled the bug and it seems a number of people have had it going back a few months now but I haven't found any actual dev or even player responses on possible work arounds. So, is there a work around for being unable to dismiss the Red Prince? Some file I can edit or weird sequence of actions I can take in the game to circumvent it that someone has found? Thanks.

If its online/multiplayer Open the in-game menu (esc) go to party management and kick from there. Assign the character to the empty player slot and kick. Should do the work!

If single player i would say just respec red prince at the mirror so hes setup for the lone wolf if you cant dismiss him and dismiss the other two. Sucks that's the only way i can think of. You will have to buy all the spells you need again but that shouldnt be a huge issue i would think. you can transfer the armor around you need.

It's because the devs forgot to put a node in his dialog file.

If you don't mind using mods, try this fix I made a while ago (save it in your Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin 2\Mods folder then activate it).

I'd love to have a re-up of this. would it kill the honour mode achvmnt?

It shouldn't as long as you deactivate it before beating the game. I got the achievement for Tactician mode even though I used it about twice. Currently doing Honour mode and activated a mod that gives you extra civili points at character creation so I could have persuasion on my main guy as well as theivery and deactivated it shortly after and went on to get achievements I hadn't gotten in my first playthrough like the grenade crafting achievement.

(I thought this would get patched soon enough as it's a relatively simple bug to fix, but oh well :P)
