Harbinger of Doom

I guess it's for a quest but I encountered it before I received the quest. Can I get the quest retroactively and who do I talk to?

I think you can get this retroactively because that's what I did, I talked to someone in the far NE corner of Paradise Downs, they'll ask you to clear a path for them. If you have done so and tell them, they'll move to the "here is your reward" stage. Unfortunately, because I already had max source points, and didn't really feel the need to get more by kissing a succubus, I turned it down. That was apparently a grave offense warranting death so they went right from "oh let me thank you" to "die, scum".

Have any of you talked to Harbinger of Doom? I had Petpal on my ranger, but it didn't work, so I just killed him. I've been wondering if I missed something there.

I approached it from the hill NW of it via the Red Princess's camp. It didn't look like it was about to invite me in for a cup of tea and a slice of cake. So I said this thing needs to die. It did. No idea what happens if you talk to it, but frankly I wsn't about to give up my vantage point on that hill to find out :)

I was above the harbinger when I encountered it too. Btw if anybody needs to know who to get the quest from it's a succubus named Almira in a ruined house in the upper NE corner of the map. She's with a magister named Mihaly.

Nah i tried talking to it (which sounds stupid because it was a literally a giant bird demon with zombie magisters surrounding it and acid rain)

He instantly attacked me...so well i do the common thing any person would do to a demon...i friggin killed it

Its hostile by default, there is no talking to it.
