Quest "A Familiar Face" bugged?

I brought NPC I've saved in Fort Joy to the temple where Magisters are - nothing. Ran around inside and outside the Elven Temple for a few minutes - he doesn't react to it at all.
Help? :(

Update:
Oh that's great... Doublechecked with the journal - game decided that he's dead, cuz he got killed then revived in combat.
Cmon, really?..
Well now F-ed up perfectionist in me demands to replay those 3h, because one damn NPC that has hilarious stats even for lvl9 in lvl16+ zone took a mace to the face a while back.
