Note to Developer - Fara Quest, on going Bug?? or new

Only started playing recently after patch .188 , Fara quest appears to be bugged - When you speak to Fara and she asks you to find her daughter ( and gives you the quest item - Doll) , no quest is added to the journal. On speaking to Jeth and returning to Fara , no XP is gained. I tried different saved games to see if it made any difference and also started a new profile and got the char to the same point, its occuring in both games ( no change after hot-fizx.760).

I have now left off talking to her, in hope that it is fixed in another hot-fix before I pass a point in the game that the quest can no longer be taken and completed. Ill keep a saved game in case you want it.

Wait, I'm on my first playthrough... does that chick really have a missing daughter? The guy next to her says he saw her daughter die and get buried a month ago and that she's insane with grief. Furthermore I just finished Fort Joy, and I explored the entire island and didn't find any missing children.

So she's actually supposed to have a missing daughter that you can find?

Hey guys, there is no real quest concerning this situation. It is rather a sad story of a woman who is waiting for her dead child and who cannot accept the actual truth Jeth is telling.
