All In The Family - Clay Sentinels
After looting the artefact for Tarquin, and leaving the tomb, I am able too without any of the Clay Sentinels attacking me.

Is this correct? I thought that they are meant to revive and attack you?

I think that they're supposed to attack you when you're leaving the tomb. At least that's what happened when I did this quest.

I don't know if there's something that you can do to not trigger them.

What happens if you don't fight them? Do you miss anything other than some XP? When the fight started, I just moved my characters out of the tomb.

I'm not sure, they just didn't attack me.
I went back to Tarquin, showed him the artefact, and then moved on.
Also apparently that is where the bug is meant to happen, however I didn't have any bug...
Although maybe I did if the sentinels didn't attack me?

Same bug here. I entered the crypt, expected a fight, but nothing. Grabbed the hilt and went out.

I thought i'd odd too that the sentinels just stand there.

But I tried this and it worked...

1) CTRL + ATTACK 1 guard sentinel and draw him away from the rest. Then kill him. then teleport corpse to the far end of the level, far far away from the two captain sentinels (they continously revive each other and all other sentinels).

2) Repeat step 1 until all the sentinels are out of view of the two captain sentinels.

3) Target one captain sentinel and take him out, then the other. easy.

4) About 1950xp per captain sentinel, NOTHING for the others.

TIP: some of the sentinel guards loot is a candle, the rest, nothing, you can put them in your pack but as soon as you drop the candle, it becomes an interactive light source, just like all the candles in the game.

Works on version 3.0.150.760

Pro Tip - If you have a warfare character, use thick of the fight. 90% damage increase at one point with whirlWINd killed 3 at once. (Playing tactician/LW)

If I remember, you have to drain the source from the ghost to activate them.

You only gain experience points from targets that have armor by default. The regular ones have no armor, just health and therefore give no XP when killed. This also goes for townspeople. So those of you who kill the vendors and such without armor aren't getting anything.

At least... That is my understanding of it.

as a fair warning to anybody who wishs to fight them, they hit HARD, and will quickly get ALL of them active in one turn, meaning you have one turn per character, they get about oooh 18 OR SO OF THERE GOLEMS, BEYOND THAT THE ONES WITH ARMOR magic armor can revive ALL OF THEM AT ONCE ADDING THERE ACTIONS TO THE END OF THE TURN BEFORE YOU GET YOUR NEXT ONES,.... BASICALLY, if you cant in the 1st turn kill both of the ones with armor and rekt the rest with aoe you WILL get mauled by them, thankfully there fragile as ♥♥♥♥

I found that if I left a party member outside of that room they didn't attack. Which allowed me to strategically position my team, bring in the final member and then they attacked.

I just threw a charm grenade on one side and took bets on which football team would win.

Also the fight triggers after you look the artifact
