There's no way to summon your own Fiery Protector? (Like Qanna)

If you don't recall Qanna, she's the woman pretrified in a crypt in the graveyard. In her fight, she summons a Fiery Protector, a flaming skeleton that summons a smaller skeleton that summons a smaller skeleton. It's a russain doll of flaming skeletons.

So I don't need to tell you that its the best summon in the game by far, nothing could ever compare to it. But I can't find any evidence of a skill book existing for it. Did they really make a Flaming Skeleton and his family of skele-boys a one fight gimmick?

nope its a spell only she has. however you could mod the skill in for yourself pretty easily.

yup another unbalanced fight of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ were mage get ass raped/useless because 3 of the 5 school of magic are useless because line of sight get blocked by the skeleton spam...

a good thing this horror is only a one fight gimmick

because fighting 700 armor 700magic ennemies is always great fun...when the expected damages for unoptimised guys is around 200

It's not really intended to be a "spell" so much as a way for her to deploy an entire encounter on her own, since a 4-v-1 fight against her wouldn't be very fun. A few other enemies do similar things - summoning the rest of the encounter on their first turn.

Or you can kill her before unpetrifying her save yourself the grief. Or you can reduce her health to almost nothing , unpetrify her and talk to her then kill her.
