How is this 'using your brain' and how does it take away from the atmosphere and surprise? The surprise comes afterwards, when you realize you forgot to press the hotkey for Spirit Vision for the 20th time, and you missed out on a lot of stuff in the progress.
Again, I'm simply saying if it is possible to have it permanently on if it fits in the lore. If a Godwoken obtained the ability to see ghosts, why not make that a permanent feature. It would immdiately solve the nuissance of realizing you forgot to refresh your skill. Again, Original Sin is very dense title with a lot going on, it's Very easy to lose track of that Spirit Vision counter.
That's one way of dismissing my point of view, No point in trying to have a discussion here, when you're just reducing what I'm saying to a 'meaningless button click'. It's simply a matter of lore interpretation. If Godwoken are only able to pierce the veil briefly according to the lore, then fine, I rest my case. However, if there is mention or the possibility that seeing spirits is just a permanent innate ability of Godwoken, then for all intents and purposes, make that a permanent ingame as well.
pardon, ill step in here and just add my two cents since they other guy can only be rude. So one the reasons behind the spirit vision being a activated is due to the fact that it counts as a source skill. guards nearby sense when you use it and investigate which adds to the story of u being a source user on the run as well adds a hmm i wonder if i did everything or am i missing some clue type of skill.
Seriously though, Yaldabaoth, you don't have to respond with such a d*cky attitude. It was a simple question.
