I Found a cool way to deal with the three frogs in the cave.
First off I am playing with my friend so it's just a two man crew.
First we sneak and set up crates and stuff on the rock formation in the upper right (near the secret chest) We set them up in a way that kept the frog that spawns on the other rock from shooting anything and kept the lower frogs from doing the same. My friend goes behind the crate with a bow so he can shoot over the crates.

Next I go on the cursed ship all the way back behind the crates that where there but had to move them a bit to make room for my character. This did the same thing it did for my friend.

What happoned was the frogs spawned in and basicaly could not do anything to us. The frog that spawns on the ship with me walks over and destroys a crate next to me but waste it's turn by then walking away from the crate to try and distance itself from me.

My turn comes up and I use fosel strike to put oil next to the poison on the ground which is next to the frog on the ship with me. I then use dragon breath and the cursed wood turns into cursed fire and insta kills it. The rest of the battle was easy because we just used ranged attacks with bows to kill the ones that where left from the safety of cover.

I feel like this is a little determoned by random number because the AI could have done other stuff but I hope it helps others. Also It just feels so damn good when a well thought out plan works the first time. :rainbow::sovunicorn:

Because the game does not hold your hands, and because there is multiple ways to deal with the same things, when it succeed you feel rewarded.

Personnaly, for the frogs, i did not plan that much, i did it the Caesar way : veni vidi vici.

Funnily enough the cursed terrain causes more problems than the actual frogs do now. But I remember when I first fought them. They beat the everliving stuffing out of me.

Like everything else did. >>;

That is clever! I agree, it's nice that the game offers several ways to deal with a situation. Nice job. :)

It was not a salty or jealous comment.
I was praising the game for all the possibility it offer and let each players "cook" their own staregy. It feels rewarding to succeed with the idea you came up with; it's far more satisfaying than streamlined games where you don't have many possibilities to reach your goal.

I just run in there not knowing there was an ambush, and murdered everything with an axe. I guess I will try a more creative approach next time.
