In case you have 2 monitors the game suport play in 2 monitors instead of spliting?
I don't know how many people can play on the same screen but I think the screen only splits into 2 halfs at most. So it may only support 2 in local co-op or there'd have to be a restriction of keeping the party together I would think.
The maximum number of players is 4 and it's possible to mix local and online at the same time (like doing 2 on one computer and + 1 + 1 on two others, or 2 + 2).
EDIT: You can still customize your own character if you join during character creation.
I was assuming it would probably throw people onto one of the characters in the host's save or something. I'm expecting state of decay 2's multiplayer to do something similar, cause of all of the characters the game will have. Or like fable 2 did, with that generic character somebody mentioned.
1- If someone is far ahead in the game, almost finishing lets say... means i cant join them?
2- If i can join someone else's game, when they are far... i cant customize my character, or have my "own" character?
As long as the host has a character in his group that is not controlled by a player you can join the game. You'll take control of the character the host asigns to you. Only when you join in character creation you can create your own character. This character is bound to the hosts save file though.
No. This game doesnt support the multiplayer you have in mind (being able to create a character and joining others with said character).
Though this is a prefect example of someone buying something without any clue of how it works or what it is.
