Can't find source ring...

SOS can't find source ring :( I cleared that dungeon but theres no source ring and I let Slane go free. Is there a console command or something? Pretty upset here and Id have to load back HOURS to repeat the dungeon.

can't help you there but i strongly recommend going into the habit of F5'ing every 10 minutes or everytime you enter combat or any other instances! :)

The source ring?.. You mean the cursed ring from Trompdoy?

You have to kill Trompdoy and loot him if that's the case.

If you mean Braccus's ring ( the only cursed ring I know of) then. you have to defeat trompdoy in the second encounter. he drops it.

I did mean the cursed ring but the thing is I cleared that dungeon literally hours ago and it wasnt until now I realized I needed the Cursed Ring and I never got it ;( now I dont know that to do.

You don't need the ring to beat act 1. There are multiple ways through the Gargoyle maze if you don't have it.

Also loot doesn't disappear like in other games. You can go back to the cave and loot the body even hours later.

I always sold the bloody ring and did the Maze two times without it. For what do you need it in the Maze?

The ring let's you skip to the end instantly.

Does it still strand you on the other side though? I remember it used to be that if you used the ring to bypass the maze you couldn't return normally because none of the doors were open.

You can leave through the back way if you have teleport or other movement skills.

On the other side you can talk to statue and it will teleport you back outside.

I thought that might be the cause, but on the only run I used the ring to get through I forgot to go bless the Historian, so I went back the long way.
