And dnd stuff is ineed optional and has nothing to do with the base game.
But if you wanna go all over like broken T-800 killing evreyone, well you are free to do so.
We thought the last game was one of the most fun co-op experiences we've had so we're looking forward to this one. I'm unable to care about the story in a co-op game which is why we played the last game this way and will play this one the same way. I only care about gameplay and the combat coupled with the items, skills, classes etc. in Original Sin made it a blast to play for the gameplay alone. Turn-based combat worked so much better in co-op than I thought it would.
And yeah, we skip all dialogue and kill everyone we're able to. Our only complaint with the last game was that it became a bit too easy when you killed so many NPC's because you leveled up so fast and became too strong too fast, but that's a minor complaint and a direct consequence of the way we played the game obviously.
