Gold sharing among party members?
What is a good system of sharing loot among the party? Will there be a way to set it so each party member has their own set of funds and gold and items found are distributed evenly or will you have to do it manually after each dungeon crawl?

It's pretty standard in RPGs for whomever picks up the stuff is who keeps it, unless you move it of course. The system is the same as in the first game as well. Sorry I don't understand what the issue is, or are you just not used to it?

Well there is supposed to be a sort of competitive questing angle to this, I was wondering if there were systems in the game that would allocate loot fairly or if not if anybody has any good systems we as players could put in place for tracking and allocating loot? For instance keeping all loot from a dungeon or portion of the game aside then dividing it up between party members who can use and need it, then selling the rest and splitting the gold between everyone?

Going to try and run a game with 4 people when the game comes out and trying to figure this stuff out before hand.

I gotchya, that makes sense. I'm referring to single-player mode and NPCs. With co-op it would be good to have a system, I agree.

No such a system is in the game (At least in the EA-Version), and i doubt that there will be a loot dividing system in the full release.

I think it has to do with the co-op play (which is of no interest for me). For single-player it is a pain in the ..., mostly during bartering. If you have to cancel a whole barter because some of your money is in another bag, you'll see the whole glory of the system. It shines the most when you have Lucky Charm and Bartering as civil talents on different chars. Also the slider to put money in is a joy if sums are higher and you have to try it several times to hit the point. It's the most uncomfortable bartering system I have ever seen in a game.

If some of your gold is in another bag, or on another character in the same group, hitting the balance icon (top middle in the trade window) will transfer the amount required (if available) to the trade window.
That will also add or subtracts the required amount to even off both sides of the trade list, up to the available amount of gold on the character(s) and NPC.
