game master mode question
so game master mode you will be able to play stories others have made in a dungeon and dragons styled gameplay. but will the game master mode also have a choice for stories to be DnD and the vanilla gameplay? i have been wondering this for a while and never really heard anything about it.

I'm not sure I'm following, do you mean play the game's campaign with a GM?

yea. i want to be able to play the campaign gameplay in stories others have made. i like how they are making a game master mode because that will make this game last forever. but the dungeon and dragon style gameplay would get boring for me i think

The game master mode uses the default game's gameplay options as far as I am aware. The only addition is the ability to insert *Choose your path* screens, the ability to request d20 rolls based on one of the game's stats and (maybe) the ability to craft your own skills by customizing existing game skills.

From what we've been shown so far, all of the above do not affect the game directly. The DM can request the rolls, activate them, and then decide if he will move objects around, throw items, damaging effects or whatever else.

It is basically that... and more! As GM you will get to have complete control of the game or as much control as you desire. Encounters can be directed or you can let the game do it! Rolls can be asked for any situation or not! We tried to give you the control on... control! As in D&D every Game Master session will automatically be influenced by who is the GM! As in all other modes of this game, Game Master as been brought to elevate players' experience of our world and, well, for maximum fun! I know you guys will love this mode! I know I do!

I guess what you are looking for are "custom campaigns".
The game will also come with an editor/toolsset/mooding tools that will alow to create those custom (single player/co-op) campaigns that can be played without a GM, just like the "offcial campaign".
