Full text inventory search
Is there a full text search of items in inventory in D:OS2? I've been many times in a situation where I need to lookup an item with a specific stat like "blacksmithing +N" and it was painful.

Having such lookup would be sweet.

To be fair, D:OS2 doesn't have Blacksmithing. But I understand your situation.
Currently, the organization of inventory is rather lacking.
A textual search wouldn't be bad, but, myself, am hoping for an organize by type/value/etc button

If the attached stat system is like DOS EE then you will know that only certain items have a particular stat: e.g. bracers and belts with blacksmithing. Then you just look at those items in your inventory after sorting by type. Currently sorting is not available but will hopefully be implemented in the next patch.

Filter + sorting system in DOS EE was very convenient, yes.
But I played in DOS EE like 90 hours and I still didn't knew only belts and bracers have blacksmithing. I mean I noticed it but I just wasn't sure 100%.
And I was in a situation where oh yes I remember I had this wand with +2 perception which I need right now but I was managing my inventory long ago and I have those 20 wands.

Also one time I confused bracers with boots, since it's icon was looking much like some kind of slippers.

Seems like the icons in this game are slightly better at depicting items so it should be easier to recognize items. Why hoard so many wands? 2-3 of each element is all I ever carry and I wouldn't carry that many if I wasn't dual weilding. Things like potions and pumpkin soup give a perception boost when needed as well as rings.

I agree with text searching (while not necessary, it would help quite a lot of people I think).

Hey, I'm just resurrecting this old thread to say that it sure would be convenient to be able to just have a quick table of equipment stats that I could read at a glance for all of us people who are "mathies" and not visual learners. I don't remember what that +2 Huntsman thing LOOKS like, I just remember that I had a +2 thinger somewhere I was saving for an occasion.
