Please, cant start the game with EoC app.exe error
i dont want to buy it for nothing, this is a weird bug

Is it related to 3.5? If so, start the game from the exe file, not via Steam.

What is the error?

Try verifying local files: in the Steam library, right click on the game and select Properties, switch to the Local Files tab and then click on the 'Verify Integrity of Game Cache...' button.

Try exiting out of the Steam client, and starting the game directly from the '..\SteamApps\common\Divinity Original Sin 2\bin\EoCApp.exe' program file, by right clicking and running as administrator.

If you have any generic or obscure USB controllers (or other devices) plugged in, try disconnecting them. Crashes on startup with faulting module names of ntdll.dll and EZFRD64.DLL, can (particularly for the latter) be related to USB controllers or PS2 to USB adapters (for various games). The game engine has controller support, even though the interface hasn't been updated for D:OS 2 yet.
This doesn't usually result in an error message, though, just a crash.

If you check the Event Viewer, does that give an error code or 'Faulting Module' file name that might give more information than the error message?
- click Start (or WinKey-R or WinKey-W in Win 8), then type "event viewer" into the search box. in Windows 10, 'event' should bring up 'View event logs'.
- after starting the Event Viewer, expand 'Windows Logs' in the left column and select 'Application'
- in the center column, look for a recent error (maybe sort by Date and Time) for the game
- check the information under the 'General' tab below the list of events, starting with "Faulting application name..."

What is the error message?

What are your system specs, particularly GPU (needs hardware support for DirectX 11) and Windows version (7 with Service Pack 1, 8 or 10, 64 bit)?


Try browsing to the '..\Documents\Larian Studios' folder and deleting the 'Divinity Original Sin 2' subfolder, if the game is getting far enough to create it (manually create the 'Larian Studios' folder, if required).
This folder contains the saved games, configuration files and a level cache folder. Normally I would suggest renaming the folder for troubleshooting purposes, but if you don't have any saved games that isn't an issue.
Next, extract the replacement folder from the download below into your '..\Documents\Larian Studios' folder, and see if that will let you start the game.

The graphicSettings.lsx file is set to 1280x720 Windowed mode, Very Low quality preset, which you can change in the options (manually, or hit autodetect) if this gets the game to start.
If that doesn't help, you can delete the downloaded My Documents D:OS 2 folder.

i did, but nothing works
even I cant find the documents and when I run it from the exe file, same error appear

Have you tried verifying game cache via Properties in Steam?
What OS are you using?
When did it last work for you?
Has anything changed on your computer around that time?

Write down the error code and any other info. They need more info, so you need to tell them what error you're getting, system info, etc.

Right-click on the Start icon in the lower left on your computer, select File Explorer. You should see Documents as a folder you can select.

Follow the instructions that Raze Larian posted to send them the error report and log.

1st I've tried verifying game cache
2st i-5 AMD R7 200 series 2gb
3st never work
4st not sure...because this is family comp

After opening Windows Explorer, 'Documents' should be listed in the left under Libraries, or you can browse to the folder under the drive, which by default would be something like c:\Users\<CurrentUser>\My Documents'.
