A couple of questions / comments:
1. Camera settings go back to default when you enter combat. As soon as combat is over, you can adjust the camera again. F10 does nothing when in combat. Is there a way to fix this? Using a better camera is especially important during combat.
2. You said you have a similar mod for DOS EE. Can you give us the link? I’d like to try it out in DOS EE.
This is an initial release - honestly I'm purchased DOS2 yesterday and played just few minutes. :)
Okay I found these. Updated + added a simple version check, more info on guide page. :)
BTW thanks the feedback.
Cheers
Just as additional feedback, the new version is called Better Camera 0.41, and not Better Camera II 0.41, so I was confused about this game and DOS EE. I tried the 0.41 version for EE and of course it did not work. If it is not too much troubles, could you update your mod for DOS EE as well? I believe EE won't be changed again by Larian, so your mod would be indispensable for playing the whole EE game.
Yep, different game - different exe. Don't mix them.
The two apps is working same logic, but use different pointers (little).
Yes, I will in next days.
It's appreciated.
Yeah it's my fault - I was too tired yesterday.
Now I updated both and change icon and name for the DOS2 version program.
Thanks the feedback enjoy the games :)
@flagyl2: thanks :)
One of the most requestd camera features is the option to reset the camera zoom-level to whatever the user had it on BEFORE a conversation starts. AFTER a conversation it always zooms waaay out which is kind of annoying.
Do you think you would be able to work on any sort of option like that for your tool in the near future?
Kind regards,
Panth
Yep, it's a DOS feature, they switced between two states - zoom-min (limited to ~4.9) to starting conversation and zoom-out when finished.
I added this new feature, and now you can disabling this function, in settings file.
(The default state is disabled).
Nope.
Excellent I'll look forward to using it!
