Can I PLEASE play a Bard?
It's such a staple of stuff like D&D. Please, Larian. PLS. I would put hundreds of hours into this game if I could just play a bard. I don't even mind if they don't have ANY damaging abilities! Bard+Hydrosophist! I COULD BE FULL SUPPORT!

PLEASE! ;-;

Wait - you mean you want to create a bard's tale as you run through the game?

Sadly the Bard skill tree didnt get enough votes to be added to the game.

A bard could be represented in the current system by focusing on skills that have relevant effects. Leadership, Persuade, etc. Adding a 'bard' skill line might not be within bounds for the toolset but you could take the Wizardry approach of attaching on-use effects to instrument objects.

Lohse can get such an item if she talks to the dwarf in Fort Joy. Just be careful because as it's super powerful and one shot.

Wait what? What dwarf?

The dwarf in Fort Joy. Yoy can find him near the bonefire to the right of Fort Joy's entrance, just talk to him with Lohse. The item you get is a one time buff instrument (it becomes apparent why is it one time use after you use it).

Well if its just a one time use then you cant really use it and call it a "bard" :<
Bard Elite Skill

Master Exploder: Influenced by the Pick Of Destiny ( a guitar pick forged by a fractured peice of the devil's tooth) your song causes all enemies to instantly brown their pants,shaming and embaressing them for 5 rounds. If this song crits, Any enemies heads within a six block range will explode.

Raze,..just say you'll mention it to the team...

True, but this is an example of how instruments can be made, the sheer power of it prevents it from being multi use, but there isn't any reason why something weaker and permanent couldn't be created with in the toolset.

There were mods in D:OS EE that added/changed skills, spells, talents, etc. I don't see why a new class couldn't be made through D:OS2 editor.

The archetypes are already lobsided. Too many magic oriented skill trees and very little martial and support skill trees. Wish other classes won the vote...
