Tips for Co-Op
So me and my brother play co op and lot since I bought the game for us. I figured I will share my tips and you throw in any that I either don't know or didn't list.

1) Killing yourself to get revived.
Long story short we use mines, bombs, traps, etc.. to kill ourselves when we are low health so the other can revive to 50%. Saving food for boss fights.

2) One person horde the money.
For the most part it's okay if the other picks up some money. They will open the money doors and attempt to gamble for a blight weapon. However, for the most part 1 person gets all the gold possible.

3) Don't just pick up items.
The most hardest thing to do if you're competitive like me and my brother. However, if you want to really win. Reading and waiting to pick up stuff really matters.

4) Spend your souls on different stuff.
One should focus on the top and one on the bottom. Both should do the middle row and get the free buy item. The bottom row player should be more passive in combat and the top should be the one that is more gun ho and rushes in.

5) Combo your skills or have 1 utility skill
For example the blight staff and the staff that creates the healing circle works really well togeather against mobs. Then in boss fights you just have to dodge while he blights and try to rez him. You won't always be the one doing the most damage and have the top stuff. Having one person using a crappier weapon but the skill is really good pays off more in the long run. The Curse skill is really good against hordes on the 4th floor.

Any more tips worth sharing for co-op?

The Harvest skill weapons have low base Attack rating, so I usually let the player with that weapon get the +Attack items (Topaz, purple potions, etc). +Crit items as well at your discretion.

Consolidate inventories to maximize inventory slots (let 1 person carry 6 Bananas instead of 3 and 3 most of the time).

I usually distribute the gold SLIGHTLY more evenly, but I've found that good milestones are getting one player then the other to 35g, 55g, and 70g. Those are common costs for many sweet items (spirits, weapons, and armors), so having a player rush to those gold 'checkpoints' is something I pay attention to.
