List Speeds on single/double slopes at convoy assembling
List Speeds on single/double splopes at convoy assembling
When creating a convoy in depot you get the highest possible speed (unload/loaded) listed.
Add the speeds for uphil single and double slope. (I don't have insight of the code, and ingame there is also no info on how the uphill speed is based of, the pysical approach didn't work)
e.g.:
max speed: 60km/h / 58km/h (loaded/unloaded); uphill gentle: 40km/h / 34km/h (loaded/unloaded); uphill steep: 34km/h / 20km/h (loaded/unloaded)

In pak128.german there is no way on double slope.
--------------
The calculation of the speed depends on the weight, the drive force, the incline, the curve radius, the momentum of the vehicle and much more.
Several slops in a row reduce the speed drastically. One slope alone can be taken easy.

The speed indicated in the depot is only an extrapolation of the theoretically achievable maximum speed. The program calculates differently on the route, even if the depots prognosis is quite good.

even on extended version i have often the problem that i underestimate the slopes. And so i end up having vehicles that can only drive 1km/h upwards 1 tile (horse,... or 10km/h train for 5 slopes instead of at least halve speed,40km/h) a ca value would help a lot in this cases
the suggestion is for all paks that without double slope than don't have a second entry.

Yes, since fixcost in 2.0, a BR 44 can be cheaper then a V100 because the 44 climbs faster the hill. As I discovered while playing myself.
