Playing split-screen with 2 controllers?

How do you play split screen with 2 controllers? It doesnt seem to discover my second one, just the first (PS4 controller), the xbox one it doesnt find, or i don't know how it's supposed to be selected.

If it worked correctly i guess i just should be able to press a button (on controller 2) in the Join-screen?

I should mention that other 2-player games (such as Broforce, which is also using Steam) does work with these 2 controllers.

Press start on a controller in the menus. Xbox One controller definitely works.

restarting the computer seems to have fixed the issue :)
