will this game support online crossplay where i can play on my PC and a friend can play on Xbone or PS4 or something like that

Unfortunately that is a feature that we will not support. It's quite complex to develop and it presents some challenges that could limit our ability to support the PC platform as much as we would want. To have cross play we would have to update all platforms simultaneously each time we release a patch, and this process can be slower to achieve on consoles, opposed to PC where we have the flexibility to do this whenever we want. So to make sure we can keep this flexibility on PC we're keeping platforms separate.
