Since you own a copy of megaton, you can go download eduke32 and use the polymer settings to see what this release's 3d engine will look like, since they are fundamentally identical in almost every way.
Also eduke32 is absolutely free as long as you own a copy of duke nukem 3D.
This is sad. Also, a lot of people with reliq systems won't be able to play with the new system requirements. It isn't my case but i have a guy on my friendlist with such a system. Now he won't be able to play this version.
