Invulnerable Battlelord Sentry?
I've bumped into this silly li'l bug a bunch of times on Flood Zone (Shrapnel City)... Sometimes the Battlelord Sentries become unkillable. Have you encountered this?

I know there's a bug with the flamethrower that can make bosses and minibosses invulnerable, but as it's not in this episode that can't be it...

IIRC there's also a (much rarer) bug in the original game which can also make enemies invulnerable, I think it had to to with combinations of shrinker and freezer?
