Go intro your game's directory and delete the files "ClientConfig.ini" & "UserOptions.ini", after that just verify the integrity of your game files. That's what fixed it for me.

I have been talking to daybreak throught their website for over 3 days now and still no fix to the problem. The problem started for me after the latest update. The one with the auto royale gamemode. Before that I have never had a problem with the game. After the update the game just died.. :/

go into your h1z1 folder scroll down
open UserOptions.ini with Editor
scroll down again until you find "version=2"
-> change it to "version=1".

after I did it it worked for me for some reason
