For beginning, I am an old player of this game and also an old GM (Game Moderator).
So after played a tons of hours (before it releases on Steam ofc) , I can say you that

The game still have the same mind than before such as :

- There are a lot of bug/glitch never fixed
- Be Pay2win
- Europe servers are dead
- BSC weapons still OP compared to BP weapons
- The managers of the game don\'t give a f♥♥♥ on his community...

So stay far of this game ...

I downloaded the game as it looked interesting.

Pros: Uhh, It can be fun if the cons, which I am about to mention, aren't present.

Con: Pay for weapons, cheaters, frame drop (which is amazing because the graphics are 2004 styled and my PC can handle GPU and CPU intensive games with ease.).

Why I uninstalled: As I was playing my third game my anti-virus blocked the game attempting to update something, either the file was sent via the game or a player monitoring the server etc etc etc. My Anti-virus rarely ever does this in any of the many multiplayer games I play, so considering this game isn't that great, I have decided not to risk it.

TL;DR I would not recommend this game to anyone.

Downloaded game on 06/16/16. There was one serber with 8 people in it. There are half naked cartoon characters all over the screen. half the people are trapped in the lobby were asking how to back out because there was no quit option. Many people joined and quit and the game never started after 5 minutes. The match decided to load a different map, not enough players joined the only server in NA again. Meanwhile, I am looking at the graphics and I am reminded of something pre counterstrike 1.6. Don't bother downloading this, you will only think back to this review and say, damn, I should have just listened. Possibly the worst and most awkward game install I have made to date.

Usually I don't play PvP. There were only a few exceptions like Sniper:Ghost Warrior MP. It was a sniper fun game but with utterly bad graphics. Blackshot is even worse in graphics. Honestly it looks very outdatet and somewhere was written it's a CS 1.7 mod.

Mainly there are other issues you'll encounter:
- intransparent weaponshop & skilltree,
- not understandable daily rewards system,
- secret uplevel system,
- unbalanced teams,
- P2W elements and last but not least
- a lot of cheaters/hackers.

Tho there was this overly hot guide Ellie in the beginning but I cannot remember anything ... And the functions are not explained anywhere else.

The basic concept is that all of your weapons expire in 3 gamehours. Then you can restock them with BSP (Blackshot points) or buy other game contents upto 30 hours endurance with BSC (Blackshot Credits). Mostly last is the reason when you meet ppl with one-shot-kill weapons or enemy pointer system. So the cheating seems to be incorporated into this game with a P2W part. Not to speak of the devs rely just on an useless ACS nProtect Software and don't have mods active kicking the massive cheaters out of sessions.

Once I got randomly a smileyface mask. I didn't use it but somehow it got expired after 1 hour of gameplay. So what? Is there anymore interest in cosmetical upgrades after that?

It's a little pity that they do have interesting locations like Rio or Mount St. Michel for example. I also enjoyed gamemodes like "Protect the Commander" or "Running man".
But the game lacks entirely in so many points.

Hopefully they will not extend the low test achievements. Because if you have rankedup like me servers really got empty and the last in-game achievements promise you a lot of brainless grinding.
Edit: They did add some mad achievements like to kill 1k ppll with the moneybag ...

I used to play this game on the Garena servers but later quit. And now when I came back to this game on Steam, I realised it is still the same bloody game, just more Bullcrap added.

The Gameplay is fun, especially the sniping because the "q,q" method is fun to play with. Other than that it is okay. Since it is a P2W game, half of your gameplay depends on what gun you are using, the more fancier it looks, the better i guess. At least they give you a box of weapons for you to use at the start of a new account, I remembered I didn't get jacksh*t from them Garena ba$tard$.

Now the bad side of the game which probably is 3/4 of the game.
-Renting System (We are in 2016 now people, change the bloody renting system, at least make it look better, sheesh.)
-P2W (Obvious one)
-Hackersville (Sh*tload of em, I don't really see em much in Beginner servers but once I got into the normal servers, oh boy, wankers are all over the place, most matches i go into at least has 1.)
-Nobody on the N.America server plays this game, well only the Beginner channel has a small population of players but when you get pass the limit and forced into the normal servers, oh boy, you must go into international servers and oh boy... Just stay the fk outta Brazil and you should be fine.

Do I recommend it? Fk no. A rating? A small piece of rotten chicken wing/ A KFC Family bundle.

Worthless garbage.

(Update: I tried it again, redownloaded and installed. No Options confirmed, No resolutions options confirmed. Got thrown out for "hacking" again for no reason. Screen 1 character select, screen 2 server select - no options in either of these screens just a control button which only shows controls, no options inside. This is all I was able to see before being kicked out randomly again, I can't make it past this section.) Review stands.

Graphics easily rival big budget high end PS1 titles

Enough time to experience the low fps and laggy thing this is. Mouse sensitivity is insanely bad, even at the highest it's slow as hell. Do not play.

BlackShot is another one of those Asian shooters that tries to copy Counter Strike while being blatantly pay to win. Funny thing about these is while all of them are more or less similar, they have at least one unique aspect.

The unique aspect in this game is the way weapons are managed. All the weapons and all the other gear are time limited, there are no permanent weapons as far as i've seen, however the timer is ticking only while you are actually using the gun. So if you have a 3 day gun, you can literally use it for 72 hours in game, and it doesnt expire unless you spend all the hours by playing. There also arent any loadouts compared to regular 3 different loadouts you pick before match in other similar games, in Blackshot you can actually equip any item from your inventory when you respawn.

Weapon pool is actually quite decent, there is nice selection of different weapons to try out which actually kept me playing this much just so i could try them out, however, most of them have a pay to win variant of itself being presented as a different skin, usually with much higher mag size, faster fire rate, more damage, accuracy and such. Some of these are given as level up reward or for achieving the achievements. There are no ironsights, but some guns have installed scopes, and by getting weapon ranks (each weapon category has its own ranks) you can unlock scopes and silencers as modifications. Scopes arent actual scopes with crosshairs, you just get a small zoom of what you already see. Besides these modifications, there are some weird "gear" items which i dont really like and offer you increased stats, some are paid with free to play currency, while others are p2w.

Shooting is not that good, but since there are hitmarks, its passable i guess. There isnt really any premium feel to it, since guns have huge spread. Game uses "world" server which lets people from any region join in so there will be hitreg delays and some weird looking deaths. Some of free to play snipers cant kill with one shot which is a big issue.

Game modes are the regular shooter modes, Search and Destroy, Team Deathmatches (with the "infinite" version which doesnt stop until you close the server), Gungames, Capture the Flag, and other similar variations of these game modes. There are no zombie modes or any kind of pve though. Recently competitive mode was added, but i couldnt find anyone playing it, either way, its hard being competitive if there are special p2w versions of weapons made just to celebrate it.


BlackShot doesnt offer much besides few changes to weapon management and big selection of different weapons. It is Pay to win and pretty subpar. Unless you have an old pc and p2w kink, i dont think you are going to enjoy it much.

- Decent amount of game modes
- Few crosshair varations in settings
- Very low system requirements
- Achievement, daily and level up rewards
- Hitmarks

Cons:
- Pay to win
- Cheater infested
- No permanent weapons
- Subpar quality
- Doesnt have any PvE game mode
- Aimpunch is too excessive
- Needs servers for more regions
