What's the best breed for the Boom Slime?

I want it to give me some money, and not a lot of chaos. Suggestions?

You could try breeding them with the Honey slime.

Chaos is pretty much unavoidable with boom slimes from my experience, even using the plort collector to avoid having to actually go inside the corral I still often get caught in the blast radius. As for pure profit, honey booms are currently the most profitable combination available. Puddle plorts are worth even more than honey, but I can't see any reasonable way to be able to handle those since they would keep exploding out of the pond and you'd have to constantly supervise them to toss them back in, and the plorts would also get tossed out in the explosion and vanish as soon as they hit the ground.

Forget port collectors and corrals as boom slimes cause chaos fullstop.

You need to think outside the box (corral) and get your butt into the overgrowth area, fire out some boom slimes (about 20) and honey slimes (also about 20) and plant the minty trees in all 4 garden plots and then leave them. Once they become largos they will feed on the chickens and minty fruits and you will rolling in boom/honey plorts just waiting to get sucked up all around the edges as that is where they are blown to.

Well I did this too but it's very hard to controll your recources when doing this, you constantly suck up big slimes (which get stuck).

When that happens just sleep in your cabin or walk away, they'll despawn.

You will want to feed a honey slime a boom plort. They are easier to feed, since they eat fruits, and the mint mango is much easier to get compared to the hen.

The problem I would have with that is that it would be really dangerous to manuver the Overgrowth area for the resources. In my opinion the best way to farm boom slimes is to control them and collect their plorts in the plort collectors.
