Slime Rancher doesn't work properly on mac

The game works but I now need to double click the mouse to press buttons on the UI and shoot slimes, and the camera angle is fixed and cannot be adjusted by moving the mouse.
Model: Macbook Pro 14 inch 2021
Chip:Apple M1 Pro
Memery:16GB
OS: macOS Sonoma 14.0

Was it working before? If so, does going into the Options > Input > and resetting defaults solve this? Do you have any new devices connected to your system?

If it has never worked properly you might want to go to Steam, right clicking on Slime Rancher within your Library > Properties > Controller tab and select Disable Steam Input in the drop down.
