Can't play at all :(

I'm really looking forward to exploring and seeing the new update but I'm not unable to open the game. I try and it gived me two options Open Slime Rancher and Open Slime Rancher Safe Mode, both do not work and I've tried redownloading the game but it didn't help.

I don't even care if I have to start over my game, I just want to play but I don;t know what to do. The game wont open at all.

Linux user here. Same problem. Tried to start the game from the console too. Didn't yield any useful debug information though.

Likewise, same problem here. Running on Windows 7 Ultimate, but it played just fine before that. Hope it gets resolved soon!

Same, I start my game, load my save, black screen and later on, crash. Awesome, I am having much much fun. ;-;

For the linux people: Make sure pulseaudio is running, a lot of recent Unity games just won't run without pulseaudio and crash on start up, the game was crashing for me too, but as soon as I started pulseaudio it launched just fine.

I'm using Windows 10 and the when the game crashes it does different things. Sometimes it says something like something was used in an unusual way and it also says that i should send some folder to the developer or it will just say the game is not responding and it will either close the game, close the game and restart Steam, or It will crash the entire computer and i have to turn it off and turn it back on again.

Bought game yesterday, played for 3 hours, all was fine, can't launch game today :(

For those who still need it, I found possible solution - if you have extended monitors (like two or more) - you need to turn on the monitor duplication feature. It personally helped me
