Just as TCJaime said, try throwing at them food until they eat it.
They behave exactly like a Feral Slime, as in being tamed when being fed.
Same thing happened to me when I made two more Hunter Tabby largos. They were all feral and wouldn't eat the roostros in their corral or even when I shoot roostros at them. They tried to get me, but were stopped by the corral walls. Soon enough they finally grabbed a roostro and ate & became friendly. Hope this helped.
I got this amount of chickens in this order
50 hens hens
32 roosteros
50 stone hen
50 briar hen
You have to mow the slime down with all your hens and roosteroes until he acepts it, it took me about 40 hens
