Should I run away from Tarr?
(I bought this game during the summer sale so I'm kind of a noob)
So while I collect plots and stuff from the feilds, sometimes I'll come across the terrifying Tarr. I've tried to get rid of them but it didn't work, so I think I should run back to the ranch and here's my question:

If the Tarr are a "while" away from your ranch and you run away, will they follow you, take over everything around the feilds, or do they just disapear off the map. I really want to know, I don't wanna loose my ranch (again):steamsad:

They won't follow you all the way to your ranch.

You can kill it with water but don't bother just let them eat everything and they'll die of hunger.

If your ranch get over run buy tarr try to kill it right when it starts. If you can't handle the wild fire of tarr just sleep in your home and they'll be gone in the morning. Don't forget your enitre ranch will be gone though.

They're really not a big issue to YOU specifically; they're a danger to your economy and foods and such though. Plus you can suck em up like largos and shoot em into the ocean (Be careful, they bite after too long of holding em), or shoot enough water to dissolve em.

See a tarr, grab the thing and shoot it into the nearest lake. problem solved. ..Most of the time.

If you can't shoot water at them, you have to run away. Tars will chase you a bit, but I think when you're out of their sight, they forget about you. Plus if there's a lot of food and/or slimes around, they'll focus on eating those a lot of the time. :D And Tars will naturally disappear even if you don't do anything to get rid of them.

Like recently, I had taken too many slimes to my ranch. 22 of each slimes, plus I mixed them so they were all largos. It was 22 of each largo per corral. They made me so much money, yet, I couldn't fed them enough. There were too many. So I went off and gotten Boom slimes (which are really fricking dangerous, knocks players out in no time if they aren't careful), I fed the booms for plorts. When I gotten the plorts, I shot a few of them into my overfilled corrals & let the tars get to work. I ran off so I wouldn't be targeted. And I returned to the ranch later that day & the tars were gone as well as a fine number of my slimes. the remaining slimes, they are so much happier now. :D I can feed all of them and they can stay full for longer :D

So just be careful and use water to fight them, if that doesn't work because there's too many tars run away, loop the map, and return to your ranch and the tars should have disappeared. The way tars are formed is a largo eats a plort that isn't their kind. For example a Pink Tabby Largo will eat a rock plort & it'll turn into a tar. And this happens with any slime. So just be careful. You hear the music get tense, run. Also, gathering the extra plorts is helpful for money sake and to prevent tars from forming :D I hope this helps.

I unhealthily let myself get attatched to the cute slimes out in the wild and can't fathom letting the Tarr eat all of them so I deal with them everytime I see them.

It's pretty easy to grab them like any largo slime and just shoot them off into the slime ocean.
You can neutralize the Tarr sometimes in a few seconds if you catch it early.

I know that, but sometimes I'm not always near water to throw them in, plus the multiplying.
