mass slime storage
I have an idea for a new item that could be added to the game. What about a way of storing large numbers of slimes without them getting hungry and producting plorts. My idea is some form of tank that would hold slimes in a dormant state. This would be useful as I could have a quick backup of slimes ready in case of a tar infestation and I could have slimes ready to forfil range exchange quotas.

Nope, don't like it or think it's neccessary.

Slimes all respawn on the Map over time, even after Tarr outbreaks. Management of your Ranch, resources, Slimes, gardens and coops is part of the fundamentals of the game. This idea would do away with much of that. Make a fairly easy game even easier for those too lazy to actually go out and collect Slimes, food items and actually manage their ranch.

Hey! I knw! Let's ask for a Bot Mode that plays the entire game for us, so we don;t have to do anything? :steamfacepalm:

you would still have to gather the slimes, it is just that you could collect them BEFORE an outbreak so you are prepared. also, i am talking about outbreaks in corals at the ranch not outbreaks in the overgrowth etc. This would not effect the other game mechanics, tis would simly allow insurance for tar outbreaks. again, you are still doing the same amount of gathering, you are just doing it earlier.

I understood your idea mate. And you can mnass stiore Slimes in the Grotto, as long as you don't feed them. If you are having outv breaks in the corrals on the Ranch, you are mixing too many typoes of Slimes and having Largos eat eat other's plorts and become Tarrs. Simple solution... don't keep more than 2 types of basic Slimes or 1 type of Largo Slime in a corral.

i personally am not having outbreaks, i was simply giving an example of a use for a mass storage system

And I was simply saying I feel it is uneccessary and I don;t like the idea. And giving my reasons why I feel that way. Others may feel differently. Mileage may vary. Not everyone is going to dance and agree with you and pat you on the head mate. It;s a discussion. I discussed my feelings and thoughts on it.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Silo doesnlt store water or Slimes. Food items, all kinds and plorts. No Slimes.

Yes, I am sure. Try it. Slimes and water just bounce off the Silo input pole. They do not get put into silo storage. Try it.
