1.4.4 More Drones mod not working

Aight so I have downloaded the launcher and I have downloaded the InfiniDrone mod. But it does not seem to have any other effect then making me not have to refuel the drones, so I wanted to download the multi mod but it can't be loaded by the mod loader for Slime Rancher

If you never have to refill them, the upgraded drone you get from Viktor should already be pretty helpful right? Have one set to collecting fruits and veggies to deliver to auto-feeders. Have the other storing plots in a silo and whatever other task you need it to do (like maybe delivering elder hens to your incinerator for your fire slimes). If the commands are general enough they can do quite a lot already without needing a bunch of extra ones.

Well you see, I did not have the upgraded drones. But you say there is a second pair of drones I can get so the limit is not 2 but I can have 4 drones then? because 2 are not enough to do all the tasks I want to be done with a system I came up with that needs at least 3 drones to work and would be highly effective if there would be more of them.

you still get 2, but the upgraded ones can do double the tasks.

Multi mod uses UMF rather than SRML and can be downloaded from the UMF website for reference.

Just so you are aware, you can unlock them by doing Viktors lab missions to collect glitches in his slimeulation. This does mean the improved drone is somewhat late game, but the moment you unlock the slimeulation you can keep re-entering it to capture more bugs/glitches until you can give him enough to unlock the drone. It's not like Miles where there is a cooldown between attempts. Getting to Viktor's lab is the hard part though, you'd need to:
-unlock the ancient ruins gate
-Have purchased the lab extension of the ranch
-Have the Treasure Cracker MKII
-and finally, complete a range exchange with Viktor once these are done

After that you should get a starmail from him inviting you to his lab, which you can reach from yours.
