Gilded ginger question
I've read a lot on this topic, looked at the wiki, followed the map, but I'm having an issue.

There are currently two places on my map that I hear wind chimes. When I check the map and wiki, I can see there are four possible locations for these two gingers. All four, there is nothing there.
Additionally, I have spent more than a day searching, and I have also slept over a day, just to try and reset it, so I get different gingers, and yet, I'm still hearing the chimes in the same location.

Is there a bug here that people know about? Is there a way around this?
I really don't want to scour the entire desert, is the two locations are already found, but I can't find ginger there, so I'm stuck.

I don't know of any connection between the wind chimes and the gilded ginger. They spawn in dozens & dozens of locations all over the glass desert. Here is a link to the map on reddit that will show you where.

It used to be much harder to find them, because only one would spawn per day. I looked forever before finding my first, and then fell off a cliff and lost it.:slimehungry:

However, it seems once you find the 1st one, after that you seem to find them pretty regularly. Of course I would head to the desert and start at one end and work my way to the other in order to get them.

There's 2 points that have a wind chime ambient sound regardless of ginger locations. One near the fire slime valley and another near Hobson's last note. The sounds here aren't identical to each other or the gilded gingers.

The wiki has every spot that appears in the code identified so it isn't a case of incompleteness unless the devs added more spots with a different variable name (though that adds additional issues that the code doesn't account for so i doubt that).

If the 2 areas weren't there then I've got no clue.
First of all, the Gilded Ginger is extremely rare (most people only see about 1-2 a in game day). But, you can tell if a spawned Gilded Ginger is nearby when you hear a certain sound effect (Go here for the fandom page on the Gilded Ginger which should have the sound effect listed on there: https://slimerancher.fandom.com/wiki/Gilded_Ginger)
