Without mods you don't. They despawn after a short while

you are wrong you can't farm tarr
1 they don't make plorts
2 they try to eat you
3 they can break out of corrals
4 they dissapate after a short amount of time

To make on You feed a plort to a largo that is different from the two slimes that make up a largo. But yea it despawns

tarr last longer and take two blasts of water to kill if it is nighttime

you can mod the game

the mod ranchable tarr. use a pump on the island between the dry reef and moss blanket (or mustache island). if you get lucky you can get a slimey soloution or whatever its called. its a bottle with a cyan liquid in it that looks thick. after you get it, feed it to a tarr. the tarr is calmed and its now ranchable. feed it meat or slimes. note they are territorial and will still bite you, only if you get too close to them. they produce plorts after you feed them.

You can put it in the #1 slime stage but it wont stay. So without mods its a dangerous feat to try.
