I disagree. The game is already a very easy game, inventory management is always super cool in games. That's where most of the difficulty comes from in this game, to be fair.

Those who complain about only 4 slots would get 5 slots, and would want even more after that deserve a tarr outbreak on their ranches

If Slime Rancher had more slots, then you can scrap warp depots (They should be scrapped already, they are useless lol). If we had for example 6 slots, then the game would not be fun, at least me would not enjoy it. 4 slots is enough. Until you earn drones, imagine vaccing up all your corals at once and then bye bye. The game is NOT about running around and get most of the slimes in one run outside the ranch. Its about exploring it slowly which makes you find treasure pods that you can open (I mean secret style pods, but eventually the other default pods). If you had more slots, then you would not explore that much in general, and believe me, vaccing up slimes and feeding them is the least interesting thing in later phase of playing. The exploration is what keeps players entertained to play more, and uncover all the secrets.
