Minecraft is an open procedurally generated world sandbox rpg where you go gather resources to build what you want.
Slime rancher is alot more restrictive in your building, fixed map, more story focused (albeit it isn't overly story focused.) And more a farming rpg than anything.
I can relate to that.
And Stardew Valley is just Harvest Moon with some of the good bits of Rune Factory stapled on.
Slime Rancher = singleplayer only and has currency to buy stufffffffffffffsssssss
