Are Plorts Slime Poop or Slime Eggs? Also, The Moon.

I've been thinking about this a lot and I've come to a single conclusion. I think plorts are actually slime eggs. You see, when a slime eats food, would it not want its offspring to exist in the environment with that food? This also makes sense since they DOUBLE their plort output when they eat their favorite foods, and if you were a smarty slime, you would hopefully try to evolve to have more children in a more suitable environment (i.e. one with your favorite food in it). Besides, other than the slime ocean, we don't really know where slimes COME from. who's to say that our lovely moneymaking plorts aren't actually slime babies?
On an unrelated note, why the heck is the moon a slime too? I mean just look at its cute little face. Is the far, far range itself a giant slime with other slimes straight up hatching out of it? And how would a slime get that big without eating multiple plorts, which we know it can't do or they'll become tarr. Are there just giant slimes flapping around waiting to become planets? And do some slimes gain a gravitational pull somehow?

First off, slime plorts are a slime's poop. Second of all, the Far, Far Range is a distant plant far, far away from Earth. Thirdly, they just decided to make the moon look like a slime because, you know, they can. I hope this helped you out a bit! :D

as plorts are basically giant cells, their plorts are more like older parts of their body that are replaced when a slime eats. there's a nice slimeology post on the forums about what they actually are, but i don't feel like digging up the link.

right and if plorts ARE small slimes that still makes them slime offspring

plorts often are seen as a waste product produced by slimes though that does not make them slime poop. oxygen is a waste product of photosynthesis for a comparison. and given how fire and puddle slimes ingest their food it isnt likely to be poop.

well to be honest i believe that slimes are a creature like a single cell and that plorts and kinda like dna (explains how shoting slimes with plorts they dont make causes them to ecome largo and tarr), seeds (how they have great plorts that do things better tham normal resources), and the product of eating things (not poop kinda like glucose and explains why fav foods give twice the plorts because the enzymes and stuff are most efficent at that one food)

the gordos are explained by they get stuck around somthing like a key
