For now just create largos you like.
Unless you found more that give different colours? I'd love that. :)
but this should help you too:

it actually has a picture of each Largo variation ^^
Then u want know which combination is good with respect to the market. You normally want to mix the easy to raise slime types with 1s that are hard to raise.
Ex: quantum and rock. Quantum are hard to raise since their favorite food require much more effort to get then say a rock slimes. So you just need to feed them the rocks favorite food and u get 2x the quantum plorts w/o dealing with quantums issues.
Note that once you figure out a good combination, those plorts will more or less will drop due to you mass selling them and will require time to recover.
Right now I have mosaic'd Tangle, Dervish, and Honey Largos in the starting area.
I'm keeping the Tangle ones next to my house, with a Silver Parsnip garden next to them, because they tend to grab things from the other corrals which always results in getting Tarrs (they grab both food and Plorts).
This way, they only grab the Parsnips when they're hungry and when the auto feeder is empty, so I don't have to worry about them too much.
The Grotto has mosaic'd Phosphor and Crystal Largos for now, I'm undecided what else I should keep there. Maybe one/some of the new Slimes we'll get with the next big updates.
I'm using the Overgrowth as a fruit garden right now, I'm gonna put Hunter Slimes there as soon as I get my hands on them.
The Docks are Puddle Slime exclusive. (I should visit them more...)
The Lab is for pink'd Slimes, since nearly every building and gadget needs pink Plorts.
I have pink Tabby and Boom Largos at the moment.
Rad and Rock will follow as soon as I have enough materials for teleporters and warp stations, because one fruit tree isn't really enough for that many Slimes right now.

using this i have maxed out each silo with either food or plorts, and have 999 stack of each plort in the refinery, all the upgrades up to level 20, i have four aperays in the moss garden, four drills in the area just out side the home ranch and the rest of the drills ect int the glass desert. with a telepot to glass desert, and in each area of slimes or extractions a port, a transport to refinery and a transport to market this way i can do a quick collection and feed of slimes and materials each morning, and have enough resorces stashed for any updates.
