Is the Glass Desert the Afterlife?

I don't know if that means anything, but it was more than opening a door and a puzzle. The choice of words "on the other side" kinda spooked me lol. But I unlocked the Glass Desert anyways and had explored it a bit. I met the Dervish Slimes, found some painted hen hens, some rock slimes otherwise it seems empty. :/ I don't know where the other Glass Desert slimes spawn :c Probably pass that locked slime door within the Desert.

I think I heard making gordos is a thing, what is the point of that? Can Rancher-made Gordos give rare things when they are popped or something? I saw a Tangle Gordo in the Desert, might I pop it for a key. I don't know. :p

The music in the Desert is kinda uncomfortable, the ruins' music was so nice. Then the Desert it turned creepy lol.

I thought the same way. A blend of heaven (with how peaceful it seems) and hell (with actual hellfire which is strangely necessary since these are the only way you can find Fire Slimes.)

You need to solve the puzzle of the Slime statues the same way as you did in the Ancient Ruins. This unlocks the Ancient Water fountain which you need to suck up and move fast because you only have 30 seconds to water those weird plant like nubs. Once those bloom the slimes and some other resources will start to bloom.

Pro Tip: Towards the back of the Glass Desert, there is a statue above the Ancient Water fountain itself. It drove me crazy since I couldn't find it for the longest time until I took a far step back and looked up. LOL

Good point, that it's a mix of both Heaven and Hell. I did notice there were opal like slime statues around the Glass Desert that I could go through, but I don't have Mosaic slimes or tangle slimes, or Fire Slimes. I only have the Dervish slimes :c they were the only ones to spawn. And the statues look like they are made of different colors so I think I need Mosaic plorts. But there's no Mosaics! :c And yes I did seen the weird flower buds on the ground, it was weird, and the cactus around the place with smiley faces. But seriously, only Dervish slimes spawned in.

Dunno, I think it is just some post apocalyptical alternate timelone on the same planet (or even another planet). maybe even the future. All the large skyscraper like structures in the background seem to indicate this to me. also it would explainw hy the end area hing is suppsoed to be a teleporter bringing you to a distant place. It may be that this civilisation saw the end coming building it to escape.maybe, the teleporter we initially come though is also another different portal which had the same purpose and the acnient ruins are the remains of those escaped civilisations members, but couldn't keep up their civilisation.

Given that Bob is a intelligent slime (givne it's not just an ingame joke) then maybe the original civiliation was amde of sueprintelligent slime (the doors beeing circles would indicate that) and then after fleeing to the palnet the ranch takes palce they simply lost their civilisation and degenerated to more simple slimes.
Maybe that sand ocean is what happes when a planet and it's slime ocean looses to much water.

Yeah lol :3 Cause you need a teleporter to get to it XD. *gasp* I didn't think of that, I haven't made it to the end yet. But Beatrix seems wanna be away from people or at least Casey, so she took the ranch job on an alien planet. So it'd be full circle if she is forced to return to civiliation. And Bob isn't one slime! He's like 3 or at least that's all his avatar shows lol :3. Aw that's sad, but it'd be nice if none of the characters have to live through that world.

Yes BOb (as the game spells it is 3 pink slimes. If you look at his picture in the game from the Range Exchange, you'll see that it's 3 pink slimes stacked on each other. They are dressed in clothes to hide that they are slimes lol but one of the bottom slimes pokes an eye out of the coat. They are very smart slimes having learned to communicate with humans nearly as well as humans are. Cause of his intro star mail and his Range Exchange offers lol all he asks is for chickens to eat. Meanwhile the smiles we gather and ranch seem to be at an animal level of intelligence, so Bob is pretty special. I love him :D He's so cute, asking for chickens with broken English ^u^.
