How to contain flying slimes?
I'm trying to make a pen for flying slimes but they seem to get out by bouncing on one another and then sometimes flying into the stratosphere....

Is the air barrier the upgrade I should of gotten?

Yes! I get high walls and air barrier on all my pens. Also if you then add the music upgrade it can help calm them. Then further on still there will be slime toys to keep them happy.

yes top net and higher walls, and don't overcrowd the corrals. bets si o make alrgos anyways they seem to not fly around so much as they are kinda fat.

Alternatively, you could just let them roam free in the cave on your ranch, since that's a solar-protected area by itself. Up until very recently, that's what I did most of the time, along with a couple of cuberry trees growing to feed them all. Since I combined them with hunter slimes though, they loved playfully jumping at me just like tabbies, which sometimes made it a little annoying to get all the plorts XD. Also, I think a few of them flew into my incinerator that's also in my cave as I hung around said incinerator, so there are things like that to watch out for as well. Worked out in the end though, since exactly 10 were left, and 10 largos per corral is what I've been doing.

theres no best, they work with evertyhing as they are fruit eaters and you can grow fruits as you please. "best" in my terms is mixing them into some meat eating slimes or a slime not having a favourite food, so you don't need to rely on slow multipyling chicken or just the regular nun double food outcome.

That's true, but I wouldn't mix them with just meat eating slimes. For example: crystal slimes have a favourite type of food that is very hard to get and farm. Hunters have a favourite of roostros, which is even harder to get! Mixing phosphors with one of those will help you out a lot.

there is plenty of vaggie/fruit eating slimes allowing you to mix into meat eaters and crytsal and you still have more than enough left.

just for the look I love honey phos largos. :) I find it easy to collect the plorts with them free-ranging the cave too. They don't crowd me. a couple of lime mango trees takes care of easy feeding.

mosaic slimes, when you get their favourite food the silver carrot or something like that
you get a HUGE amount everyday enough to feed one or two corrals a day and you get twice the plorts

I actually found a single Honey slime in the jungle area and grabbed a plort off it so now I have a single honey cat slime. Btw where does one find the crystal slimes?

I love phosphor - mosaics xD I tend to combine my Largos with either Tangle (and put them in overgrowth) or Mosaic (put them in Lab area) or Crystal (put them in Grotto)

This way I have painted hens in the Overgrwoth for all the Tangle largos, Silver parsnips in the Lab for the Mosaic largos, and Odd Onions in the Grotto for Crystal Largos. One garden feeds all the largos, one silo stores extra

as for chickens...i found that having 3 coops, and THEN flooding my ranch with free roaming ones, gives me all the meat i ever need xD

they are in the INdigo Quarry. when you reach the area with the wooden platform and ramp, fly up to a ledge opposite it and go through the cave
