Yes it can rot.

Does that apply to the food given via the food dispenser upgrade, too? Cause that thing is just flooding the place, lol.

Try vac-packing the food. If it turns to dust, it rotted.

Two days on floor. Inside a container no expiration date.

Yes, the fruit & veggies do rot after a few days. But if they are in your vac gun &/or a silo they can't rot. Slimes don't always eat, so it might seem that food is untouched in the corrals but your slimes aren't hungry at that time, so they wait until they are hungry to eat the food in their corral. So if you can, I suggest getting a silo to store extra food so it won't rot & you can use it later.

The only type of food that doesn't rot is living food. (I.E. Chickens)
