I got this message 3 times already, for all 3 gathering machines each. Is that a bug and is there an upgrade after advanced?

Yes. There are two more upgrades after advanced as I recall. The next one should be called "Master".

You are supposed to get three messages, btw.

No, thats the fun thing. I unlocked all 3 advanced 3 times. Instead of getting the things after advanced, I unlocked advanced again o0

Yeah this happened to me too when I saved and loaded back into the game. Still have yet to get the prompt for the next tier.

You can't actually get an extractor that's better than advanced. There are no more upgrades for that, because what I listed is actually going to be added in a future update.

Slightly off topic: But is it the same with Tier 3 Treasure Crackers. (as in we can't get them yet)

Nice necro. Use the novice ones, keep playing and they unlock. There are other threads about this. And I do believe that it tells you that you have to keep playing to unlock more.
