You find them around the chicken nests in the wild. Their voices are much different from the hens, so if you hear a deep clucking, that's a roostro. They are rare tho. And sometimes you can find roostro offering from the Range Exchange. The only catch about the exchange is you gotta trade what is asked before noon. But if the exchange is active at night, you can trade before morning. But the Range Exchange has random items offerings. so it's easier to find chicken nests in the wild to get a roostro. The only thing is you have to be very fast when they spawn, cause slimes could be going for the new meat that appeared.
Be aware, that managing a coop. it's best to have 1 hen & 1 roostro in the coop at a time. You can't allow there to be too many hens around your roostro, or he can get stressed out & age into an elder roostro. An elder roostro & elder hens are useless since they can't make anymore eggs. And if the coop gets 12 hens or roostros in it or more, they won't make any eggs cause the coop is most likely too packed for anymore chickens. Chicks age from chick to adult after 1 day. Having a coop, you'll get more hens than roostros since roostros are the rare ones. I hope I helped :D
